Blue Mesa - Petrified National Forest - Arizona
Photographed on September 27, 2007

Feeling under the weather this week - so I went into my archives of photos to create this new panorama.
The Blue Mesa badlands are cone-shape hills composed of soft clay that has eroded into intricate patterns
and miniature ravines. The bands of color come from a variety of metal oxides.

Please send an email to me if you had problems viewing the Flash panorama.
